Vapour Blasting
This process uses water
and an abrasive medium accelerated from a nozzle with
compressed air to provide a very effective environmentally
friendly closed loop surface cleaning.
The glass bead used in
the system is mixed with water in to a slurry and blasted at
the component. The water buffers and lubricates the
particles on impact allowing very fine finishes to be
produced without damage to the component.
The vapour blasting
process is suitable for aluminium, Bronze, Magnesium,
Titanium, Brass, Copper etc...It will gently clean the
surface without damage to any surface and leave a nice satin
finish which is very easy to keep clean.
Please be aware that any
item that rust cant be done with this process as the item
rusts instantly.
Also all bearings have to
be removed and anything with lacquered on it will need to be
removed as the
Process is too passive for
such coatings.
